The Panzer 4 Medium Tank, also called the Panzerkampfwagen IV was very commonly used by the Germans. As a matter of fact, around 9,000 Panzer 4 Mediums were made by the Germans which made it take the cake as the most used tank by the Germans. This tank also served the Germans all through WWII, something that the other German tanks can’t say. Even the enemies of the Germans had respect for this tank due its superiority over its competitors. The Panzer 4 Medium was designed to support its predecessors, the Panzer 1, Panzer 2, and the Panzer 3 in battle. After WWII, Syria reportedly bought some Panzer 4’s from Germany who then used the tanks against Israel in 1965. The last reported use of the Panzer 4 was in 1967
